Do you know what it is like to live your first full year of life on a chain? Unfortunately, I do. It is so lonely and hard. The weather changes so much and I had no shelter and sometimes no water or food. They would feed me when they wanted. No one ever loved me until I was rescued from my chained life. I am a little bit to handle so they sent me to a 6-week training program at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center. I learned basic commands and learning not to herd people. That’s how I used to play with people, but I am told it is a no no so I am still learning not to do that. I was born in 2023 and weigh about 60#s. I love to play with other dogs. I might not do so well in a home with little kids as I am a big puppy and play a little rough. I think if I found my forever home and they took me on walks or runs and played with me over time I would learn to calm down. Going from a life of no one caring or visiting me to people coming and seeing me all the time just gets me so excited, but I am learning. Heck I’m still a puppy in my eyes. They think I am part lab and part Anatolian shepherd both working breeds so lots of exercise for me. Unless I discover what a couch is then maybe I can become a couch potato lol.
